    It is a good combination.

International business will teach you all about doing business in other countries – how to deal with shipping, handling, insurance, customs, VAT, duties, foreign exchange, etc. you also learn business protocol and ideologies of different countries.

You learn how to quantify foreign exchange risk and to use forward put/call options to mitigate that risk.

Marketing will help you to understand how to promote your products in different countries – for example, you do not show women in bikinis in an advertisement for a Middle East country.

Careers that exploit this combination include International sales manager, regional manager, channels manager, OEM manager, and involve extensive travel.
